Pakistan,s economy is in trouble. There are a number of reasons for this and it is not easy to fix the problem. The problems are so big that they need to be tackled on a country-wide scale.

Pakistan,s economic challenges are mainly due to the high levels of inflation, which have been caused by the depreciation of its currency. inflation is currently at 9% and has been rising

The cost of living is skyrocketing and inflation has been steadily rising. For example, in the last year the price of a loaf of bread has risen from $2 to $2.50, a gallon of milk from $3 to $4, and a cell phone from $250 to $350.

The other major problem Pakistan faces is unemployment; this has increased dramatically in recent years and now stands at 8%. The low levels of exports also contribute to ,economic woes as they account for only 1% of GDP, with imports accounting for 28%.
